SCOUTS LEARN THROUGH DOING

WHO ARE THE SCOUTS?
Scouts are aged between 10 and 14.5. They meet weekly in “Troops,” and within each Troop work in smaller teams called “Patrols,” where they help plan activities and take responsibility.
They spend their weeks diving into exciting adventures and learning new skills. A typical Scout evening might start with planning a hike with their Patrol, practicing map-reading and teamwork, then heading outdoors to test those skills by navigating trails or pitching tents. On other days, they might try canoeing, rock climbing, or cooking a meal over a campfire. Alongside the thrills, Scouts work on practical life skills like first aid, leadership, problem-solving, and helping their local community. Every activity is designed to be fun, challenging, and rewarding, helping young people grow into confident, capable, and caring individuals — all while making friends and creating unforgettable memories.
