Beaver Scouts is our youngest section for children aged 6 to 8.5 years old.

They meet in small local groups called “Colonies,” often organised further into “Lodges.”

Being a Beaver involves a mix of fun, friendship, and learning: they do creative crafts, play games, explore the outdoors and nature, sing songs, listen to stories, visit places, and sometimes go on short sleepovers or little camps.

Through these activities, they learn practical skills, teamwork, kindness and start earning badges — all in a safe, inclusive environment designed to build confidence, curiosity and a sense of community.
